Re: Charter now owns CableVision?
said by Thinkdiff:I originally thought the same, but when you click on that link in the article above about speed tiers, it forwards you to the site that says "Optimum is now Charter". I'm surprised that no one has picked up on that yet. Also, when I go to Optimum.com, I see the same thing. However, when going to cablevision.com or optonline.net, there is no mention of Charter. I guess CV has not made it official yet, but they will pretty soon.
Charter does not own Cablevision.
Charter purchased the "Optimum West" portion of their network in the Montana/Utah/Colorado area. This was formerly "Bresnan".
