He is worried about how his performs and its true that just because his works that way it doesnt mean everyone elses does but guess what, HE ISNT PAYING FOR EVERYONE ELSES SERVICE. He pays for his. | Re: provisioning? They have to find a company to buy from, test, negotiate contracts, register the modems with their network and get the modems to people. That's provisioning modems and any other sort of equipment for you in a nutshell.  | |

| | hey i am no expert on cable networking, but isnt the digital cable and hd boxes still based on docsis, if so upgrading to docsis 3 means more bandwidth to house for multiple hd recivers, ect. at least by how i think it all works | |

FIOS is basically only on the East Coast and a few scattered areas in TX. So most of us won't see this upgrade anytime soon. | |
