1 edit | Good first effort But it has a way to go. The problem with Blu-Ray is the media is a total rip, rentals being the only viable way of getting Blu-Ray content. But when you're looking at the rip-off prices of DBS 1080P rentals you're better off with Blockbuster or Netflix, despite Netflix's recent addition of a $1.00 "how dare you want Blu-Ray discs" penalty. Blu-Ray still handily wins (unless you don't have a player of course, which are still pricy themselves). | |

The pricing structure for Blu ray dvs's needs to be revisited-why do I pay more to buy or rent a movie that's been mastered on blu ray when there's no extra content? for the difference I'll just let the PS3 upscale a regular dvd for me. | |
