I suppose you could classify Clearwire's current technology as "fixed wireless" versus "mobile wireless", but Clearwire plans on moving to "mobile WiMax", so what does that mean? | |

| | EVDO is much larger This is not really a valid statement as 1) Clearewire is currently using pre-WiMAX, which is not faster than EVDO and 2) coverage and user base are much smaller than EVDO.
Sprint has the largest 3G coverage when including Alltel roaming and Verizon also have huge 3G coverage. Sprint also has over 2m EVDO laptop card users. Verizon has way more 3G EVDO phone users. | |
