Clearwire To Go Live In Philly, Chicago Brotherly love in weeks, windy city in November Friday Oct 23 2009 10:11 EDT Tipped by kem09030 Continuing their quest to launch eighty markets in eighteen months, Clearwire has announced a slew of new launch markets for November and December. Most notable is Clearwire's much-anticipated launch of the Mobile WiMax service in Chicago and Philadelphia, two markets that have either already unofficially gone live or have been accepting business customers. According to Clearwire, Philly will be officially launched in the "next several weeks," and Chicago will see its launch sometime later in November. The company says that Clearwire, Sprint and Comcast will all launch their wireless broadband service in Chicago at the same time. Up to this point, despite running all on the same network, the services have seen belated follow up launches after Clearwire first launches a new network. Clearwire also announced a slew of additional launches that are going to go live in November and December. Charlotte, Dallas, San Antonio, Greensboro, Raleigh, Chicago and Philly will go live in November. Seattle, Honolulu and Maui will be going live in December. Clearwire is hoping to have 25 new markets launched in 2009. |

Price?Browsing through their packages, it seems that they are offering an unlimited 4G card for $40 a month. It seems too good to be true. I'm so game if this is the case. | |
