comcast does not upgrade state that don't have fios
I think its ridiculous that cc only does this to compete otherwise everyone would be stuck on crap 6/1
Many user do not have 8/2 because it cost too much already
In either case 12/2 or 16/2 give user the ability to download nearly twice as much and hit their monthly cap in half the time it take them on regular tier
Good luck to user who are shutoff due to going over the cap repeadedly oh well that's business as usual | |

I'm in the Atlanta area and so far it seems like only one small area has seen the higher speeds that the DOCSIS upgrade is supposed to bring. The rest of us are still waiting for any sort of improvement.
It's especially frustrating since the one person that reported higher speeds is over in Roswell which is only a few miles from where I am. Yet my connection remains at the same level. | |

Seaford, DE | 1/2 of Delaware ... When you hear of any upgrade for Delaware it's for Kent county and above.ALWAYS zzz  . Fios is everywhere around the surrounding areas also but they still haven't deployed in Good ol' Seaford(or anywhere on RT 13).
Can't complain too much though, i get my subscribed speeds here,low latency .but these days 6/1 and 8/2 are very limited options.

| | i wish utah had utopia. only 2 cities have it. that's about 5 square miles. the other 10 cities went bankrupt trying to build it. the other 5000 cities aren't even on the list to build.
i bet it won't be long before everybody has a cap. with the invention of the new set top boxes that require internet for your pay per view pleasure. and those huge a** files because movies are high def now instead of standard def. and let's not forget. we don't have a job to pay for the service anymore so those of you luckys that still have a job but with greatly reduced hours. UUUU get to pay more because your the only one keeping the coffers flowing.
and someone please explain this theory behind throttling. it's bullsh** to have to spend 10 hours to transfer a file when it used to take 10 minutes. it don't discourage me from doing what i want. so why make me tie up the system longer.
i see qwest now offers 7/1. haven't heard anything about caps or throttling. maybe i should switch???? | |
