Comcast Invests $150 Million in Arris
Google, Comcast Will Each Own 7.85% in Company
Arris has announced that the company has agreed to sell Comcast corporation 10.6 million shares of its common stock, valued at around $150.0 million. The news comes on the heels of Arris's announcement
that they would be buying Motorola's home business division from Google in a deal worth $2.35 Billion. According to the companies' press release
, the deal will result in Comcast and Google each owning approximately 7.85% of the outstanding ARRIS shares post-closing based on ARRIS' current capitalization.
