Comcast NBC Pondering Yet Another Streaming Service Friday Mar 16 2018 07:40 EDT Comcast NBC Universal is considering yet another streaming service as it tries to fend off the cord cutting threat. Insiders say the company is planning a new NBC News streaming platform aimed at Millennials; an attempt to modernize the company's brand in light of shifting viewing habits and the fact that the average NBC Nightly News viewer is now 64 years of age. Insiders say that the company hasn't yet decided if the new streaming service will be advertising or subscription based (or, this being the cable industry, both). |
