I thought satellite would be the only way to get this!
It seems their converter box is even cheaper than the one DISH network sells.

Mission Viejo, CA | HDTV in orange county soon I just got a thing in the mail about Cox offering HDTV in mission viejo pretty soon.
That is cool..but I probably wont' switch to Cox digital.
I think the fact that I can't get local channels in digital format is a big negative.
I notice a definite improvement in picture quality for my locals going from cox to dish network | |

Glendale, AZ | Re: HDTV in orange county soon Yeah, you need to have Cox Digital here in Phoenix to get HDTV, but I already had that. We get one local broadcaster so far... ABC affiliate. Hopefully, the rest will follow soon.

Glendale, AZ | Re: Box rental? There's not a rental option for the box in Phoenix. It's $500 to purchase which is a few hundred less than adding HD to a mini-dish. I watched the Soprano's in HD last night. Awesome!
