Apparently being in the general area fiber makes electrons cheaper to move from point A to point B.

We're already seeing that with metered internet. Providers are seeing this with people cutting the cord on video and getting it online so they're going to be making it not worth it. -- When I gez aju zavateh na nalechoo more new yonooz tonigh molinigh - Ken Lee

| Pricing is HIGH Wow, $109 a month is steep.
I live in Connecticut and currently have their $50 Premiere Internet plan which normally tests out at 25 - 30MB down and 5MB up.
Why would I pay $50 more a month for 20 MB faster speeds that I probably won't see anyways.
Does the $109 a month package allow me to run webservers from my house or something? What am I missing here?

| Another "Select Market" I see D3 is in arizona but only gets half the speeds that the 'have' markets get. - have = 50000/5000 havenot = 28000/2000[which can be done on D2 equipment] -- When I gez aju zavateh na nalechoo more new yonooz tonigh molinigh - Ken Lee | |

@verizon.net
| This Info is Wrong The price is 149.95 a Month....
You can't get a 1 year contract with this.
Install is 100.00. Price for the modem is an ADDITIONAL 100.00.
You can't bundle this with other products to get a discount.
If you are in one of cox's bundles, you loose that discount as they have no bundles with this.
Also, at 149.95 in RI, you can get FIOS which has 20 meg upload and not 5. The upload is a JOKE at this price.
How do i know all this? I called. But I have FIOS, I pay 100.00 a month for cable and internet and have a 20 meg upload. Cox is behind the times.
