@comcast.net | Nothing Lost Rupert's just a greedy moneychanger ,and doesn't know how to build a national network. Loan sharking and screwing people out pensions is easier!

| on little guys I think that there will be a lot of little guys to munch on who obtain the wireless licenses, either "go under" or get a late-term white knight investor. A bunch of companies are doing "unlimited wireless" plans and broadband plans which are orders of magnitude below the big 4: verizon, att/cingular, tmobile, sprint.
So, we'll see how it plays out. Unlimited wireless plans are around $199 for sprint, so if companies can come in and cut the legs off of a plan like that, anything is possible.

| hmm "wireless DBS"
When they say that the first thing that comes to mind is the XM/Sirius satellite antenna's small & compact although probably not able to deliver video but maybe broadband like speeds to people who need/want it?
But that would not make any sense with the spectrum auction I suppose.

| I don't care who buys it as long as it's not a 'private' band and offer equipment that operates on it to professional wireless providers looking to get in on a frequency that's not overrun with consumer gear. That would greatly help the wireless ISP market. -- "Hows your French toast?" "Smelly and ungrateful, but this AMERICAN toast is great!" | |
