Earthlink ScamBlocker causing iTunes Music Store problems? MacFixIt reader Ray Medina reports an odd issue where "ScamBlocker," part of EarthLink's TotalAccess software package, disallows retrieval of some iTunes Music Store content:

"I have been battling a vexing problem with iTunes for a week or so. When accessing the iTunes music store (using a high speed cable modem) and attempting to listen to the 30 second samples, the sample would cut off after 13 to 15 seconds regardless of which album I tried. My ability to listen to certain iTunes radio stations would also exhibit the same behavior with a "Network Stalled" dialog box popping up but nothing happening after that. After a number of various strategies I found the culprit to be Earthlink's TotalAccess software v2005.1. Disabling their 'ScamBlocker' feature restored all iTunes streaming functionality."
