Netflix?s ad-supported tier will start with a big drawback

They talk as if having ads itself isn't the biggest drawback...lmao I haven't watched anything with ads for like 10+ years or so and will never go back to any platform that forces me to watch ads. This is a huge step backwards IMO.

A Chinese fleet tracking device is hackable?

Gee, say it ain't so. Who ever would have thought.

(and by "hackable" we mean "standard back door for the Chinese government")

Disney Plus AND COMPANY

so, it takes the concerted effort over three years for SIX streaming services, run by MAJOR content owners, to finally aggregate enough business to surpass what Netflix has.

THAT'S the story.

Disney Plus and company just dealt another big blow to Netflix

T-Mobile has 108 million subs. Imagine how it would hurt Netflix if TMO stopped offering it for free to it's users. Even if .25% of those customers just left Netflix, that would crush their numbers of sub losses.

Charter's only growth in NC will probably be in rural areas.

Charter will have to build out to rural NC. Most neighborhoods in Urban NC are being overbuilt by fiber, and whoever builds the fiber gets the customers.

Our neighborhood pre AT&T Fiber buildout was about 5% AT&T/95% Charter. Post fiber buildout it basically flipped 95/5 to AT&T.
