Stats, server status, and such are updated every 5 minutes at: http://foldingathome.stanford.edu/2.0/stats.txt. Check that page before reporting a problem.

Run the client overnight. We need to know if it's stable or leaks memory, as well as pounding on the servers a bit. The work units for the beta are very short, so you should be requesting alot of work and stressing out the servers. The servers may be down when we need to fix things, don't panic, just check the stats page to see if they are up or not. We're _trying_ to make the servers fail now if they have any problems, rather then later.

This beta expires at midnight UTC August 29.

Submitting a problem:

"It doesnt work" doesn't help us fix it, we need to know a few things.

- Description of what happened.

- If you're having network problems and using a proxy - which proxy? If you can sniff packets and get the exact HTTP request and error response, that would be ideal. Do the settings match those of other apps that work?

- Your client.cfg file.

- The relivant parts of FAHlog.txt. This means the beginning listing config and the end part where the problem happened. Please dont send entire logs.

- If you have a GUI/windows (or any) problem, we need to know the version of windows. Is it win95 with no service packs or an XP beta, etc.

- Date on the .exe in the zip.
