So this isn't so much a resignation as it is that her term is over the 1st day Congress meets in January. She had to leave. It isn't voluntary. Interesting. So would it be safe to say that even this go round the Senate / Congress is looking for a change? The FCC has had it's issues for quite sometime with regards to being in-tuned with the modern world. Hopefully, this go reound they ge tit right. -- "Smart is knowing your ABC's. Intelligent is knowing how to use them."

| Re: Anyone Who It's about time to see a lot more of these incompetent FCC commissioners resign, or be forced to by the new administration. Tate is just another of the technically unqualified politically appointed commissioners. Kevin Martin is another.
It's time to get the FCC back to what it does best, engineering. And let the politics to the politicians.
Maybe now we can get the FCC culture back to what it was prior to the politicization of the agency, and see the technically competent employees again do their jobs to represent the interests of all of the people.
It's time to sweep the top of the FCC clean of non-technical people and get it back to what it was and is chartered to be. A technical regulator and watchdog.
