FCC Will Release Broadband Plan One Day Early Next Tuesday, March 16, at 10:30 EST According to an FCC announcement (pdf), the FCC will officially unveil our first ever national broadband plan at an FCC meeting next Tuesday, March 16, at 10:30 EST. That's one day earlier than the plan was supposed to be unveiled before Congress, though technically it's about a month behind its originally-scheduled unveiling date. The plan is expected to put a heavy emphasis on delivering more spectrum to incumbent wireless carriers, the construction of a national wireless emergency network and " digital literacy" efforts. However, early glimpses indicate the plan does little to shake up a stagnant U.S. duopoly market or to seriously tackle limited competition and high prices.

| | Sigh Ugh...why did I wake up at 4 am? And why can't I fall back asleep? Sigh....
Also this plan sucks. Why did it take them so god-awful long to do what amounts to nothing? The moment Julius took real government intervention off the table this plan became an utter failure.
The worst part is there are *still* Republicans who are hounding the plan for being "too radical". It's just ridiculous.

Will never have a working health care system instead you will be able to get a life saving surgery if you can happen to buy that doctor a new Porsche or you know what ever he decides to charge you. Thats the actual problem with our health care, they are all like CEO's apparently.
With that said, this all comes down to one thing "Greed" & its going to destroy the once upon a time Greatest country in the world called America. I hate to say this but if a disaster whipped out half of the worlds population it would be doing our species and the world a favor, because eventually we will have doctor visits that cost the insurance company's 35 million a visit & all the resources we have to day will be just about all gone. Thats the truth, if we keep growing anyways we can't sustain this incredible greed of the human species for ever.
The Indians who once inhabited our land might not have been the worlds most advanced people but they did understand that the world needs to be balanced & respected, but instead we spread like a plague on our earth. But hey at least I won't be alive to see when all this shit starts crumbling down. Its funny we are the smartest thing that has walked on earth that we know of, yet in the same time we are stupider then we think.
Because again & really think about it.... We have one trait that causes all of the worlds problems.. Greed, really think about it! Name one thing that was caused by us & did not involve greed! -- "Thats Daddy Comcast to you Ma'bell." "I love TV but god dam don't burn my house down" "Comcast subscribers have been giving local new channels high ratings watching Verizon set peoples houses on fire" "Now Thats TV"
