NY, Oregon coming within a few weeks...
(old news - 01:42PM Wednesday Apr 02 2008)
tags: Fiber · business · HDTV · Verizon FIOS
The other day we reported that Verizon FiOS TV users were seeing the company's HD on demand service going live in a number of new markets. When we contacted Verizon for comment they weren't ready to publicly confirm just yet, but apparently their silence ended today. The company e-mailed us to confirm they've expanded their HD video on demand service into their California, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Texas markets. According to Verizon, customers in New York and Oregon will get the service "in the coming weeks." Customer impressions of the service can be found in our FiOS TV forums.
