Bandwidth for accessing news has been
throttled down to
128 Kbps per customer. Total bandwidth limit for news has been set to 20 Mbps for all the customers. If the bandwidth goes over 20 Mbps (+5 Mbps burst) then router starts dropping packets.
This is not temporary".
This was a VP level decision and any of you who monitored the DTV newsgroup and are waiting for info from NewsAdmin, he is now forbidden from having any direct customer contact. In other words, no more update postings. Another VP level decision."
