www.examiner.com/article/index.c···flasherA sexual predator has been stalking women in the Sunset and Richmond districts, exposing himself to, and in many cases masturbating in front of, more than 40 girls and young woman.
Hidden under a hooded sweatshirt and behind mirrored sunglasses, the pervert targets mainly young Asian women, said Insp. William Kidd of the Sex Crimes unit of the San Francisco Police Department.
The offender attracts the girls' attention, sometimes by pretending to be doing something with his car. He then walks up to his victims on the sidewalk, drops his pants and flashes his genitals, police said.
In several cases, he grabbed his victim's arm, preventing her from fleeing while he masturbated -- making the crime a sexual battery offense.
Police say they were able to extract DNA from semen left on a victim's clothing. After analyzing the DNA, they concluded that the same man struck last year in Milpitas. His identity is still unknown.
