Lewis Warren Jr. started plunking on a beat-up old piano when he was 3. That one-finger tinkering soon turned into melodies. Then harmonies came together.
Whether performing for the homeless or for a jury of international pianists, Lewis Warren Jr. has 'the ability to touch people's hearts,' says Carol Leone, who gives him lessons at Southern Methodist University. By 5, he was composing. Today, at 12 years old, he plays like a virtuoso and is well on his way to becoming a celebrity.
"Whether he is performing for the homeless or for a jury of international concert pianists, Lewis has the ability to touch people's hearts," said Carol Leone, his piano teacher.
