We have Bush running things now. He's responsible for the CHAOS in Iraq, no one else. Still, even if the world wanted to hold him accountable, I would expect it to be done in a court. The same goes for the people killing our soldiers. The minute you do away with civility, you let these monster's win. You send the message that we will stoop down to your level. | I'm glad I don't live in France If I don't like a website, business, whatever, I just won't go there or go back. I don't see what's so hard about that.
Don't like rap? Don't go to places that play it. Vegetarian? Don't go to steakhouses. And so on.
That and this is very, very dangerous to society in general. In my experience, everyone belongs to some sort of minority, in one way or another. So would everyone there have to conform to the "perceived norm" even if that's not the norm at all?
Also, what evidence is there that this will be effective. Where there's a will, there's a way.
Let's take one example, child pornography. Personally, even the mere mention of it disgusts me immensely. But, consider this:
- It's going to happen, whether I like it or not. - People will find ways to get it.
It is my firm belief that it's the subscriber's responsibility to stay away from such nasty sites.
A censored Internet means going down a dark path that must not be followed. And it has the potential to make criminals out of otherwise law-abiding people. Note that I'm not trying to defend child porn. For the most part, I don't care what people do. But, that is one thing that I think absolutely must be snuffed out.

I seriously doubt there will be any kind of prohibition on Xtianity. The religious nutjobs will always be able to purvey their fairy tales in whatever obnoxious manner they choose just like they are currently doing now. It's everyone else's religious beliefs that will be suppressed. And the fairy tales the nonreligious preach are any better. No

| Terrorism and Child Pornography If you have ANY AGENDA YOU NEED TO PUSH all you have to do is link it to TERRORISM or CHILD PORNOGRAPHY because no politician would dare to block that agenda and then face accusations "They support Terrorists and Child Pornographers"...
