loyalty? On Wednesday I spoke with someone in T-Mobile's "Loyalty Department" about switching. I'd been given an offer from Sprint with a really good deal on a plan and a free Nexus S or Evo 3D phone. Needless to say, T-Mobile offered me an even better deal on a plan and phone. When I expressed concern about a 2 year contract and the looming AT&T merger, she said, "we have been told that the AT&T deal will probably not happen, there are just too many obstacles in the path." Of course, she might just be saying anything to keep a customer, but I found it interesting that she phrased it with "we have been told...".
I, too, loath the possibility of giving AT&T any business. I truly detest that company with every fibre of my being. Should the deal go through, I will simply walk away, screw the contracts.
