Gas tax hike fuels business ire

Critics also condemned the proposed boost - which would raise the tax to a highest-in-the-nation 50.5 cents - as a double whammy for drivers inside Route 128 who would still face tolls on top of the hike.

Forget it

I once thought about moving to Massachusetts in hope to broaden myself. But from the looks of things, I'd go broke in a week.

Way to encourage business.... NOT!

(I say the same about Maine's relentless taxing of just about everything there is.
Despite that our Government tries to encourage more businesses to come to Maine. More and more leave then are created. Why? IT COST TOO MUCH IN TAXES! Yet we keep hiking them...... )

Bait & Switch

"...between $.05 and $.27 a gallon..."
They'll tax 17 cents and say "See, we saved you 10 cents a gallon!"
