The Georgia Aquarium's Web site, www.georgiaaquarium.org launched in its primary phase Tuesday, one day after aquarium officials revealed their new logo.

The next phase of the Web site is expected before the end of the year. The third phase, complete with flash and video, will be online well before the aquarium's grand opening November 2005.

Fund-raising continues to support the construction of the aquarium. The Marcus Foundation, started by Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus, donated $200 million for its creation.
