NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Want to get a haircut for a good cause?

"Give Us Your Hair" is taking place Wednesday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Purchase College's Hillel and Pantene Pro-V Beautiful Lengths.

Anyone is welcome, and those who cut eight inches or more will get a free haircut; less than 8 inches will cost $8 for haircut.

All of the cut hair goes to make wigs for cancer patients, and the money from the haircuts goes to the same cause.

Purchase College is located at 735 Anderson Hill Road, in Purchase, N.Y.

Both professional and student barbers will be donating haircut services.
