Beginning tonight, skywatchers can have a feast for the next ten days, when the giant planet Saturn will be closest to the earth and also the brightest.

The planet will be only 750 million miles from Earth today-- the closest we get to the ringed planet all year long and skywatchers can have a feast throughout the night on the eastern sky, according to astronomers.
