| Re: Thumbs up! Looking at construction in my neighborhood, I'd say within the last year. Maybe more recently.
Images tend to look better when taken during Winter - less tree cover and better contrast if there is snow. These appear to have been taken in warm weather. I'd say last summer.

I think the Satellite view is pretty neat though, although the novelty might wear off after a while. Does anyone know how old the satellite images are? | |

It needs to be up to date and more detailed( my area is very densely populated and there are new building gong up every day) and the click and drag feature is also pretty cool. other than that, my address came up right away no problems. I'll take it since it's for free. | |

My area had to be taken a couple years ago, on a weekend in the spring (no cars at my work, cars at the local baseball field, no cars at the pool)

keyhole has a better interface though, you can spin or drag the map in real time, no clicking and waiting. | |

They all have a use, but Terraserver gives the most bang for a free service IMHO. I use these a lot. | |
