Though their Google TV platform isn't quite the revolution they promised, the company continues to bring improvements to the service in the hopes it someday will be. According to a Google TV blog post, the company is soon bringing voice search functionality to the platform, allowing users to simply speak "Netflix" to open that application. The company says they've also made numerous tweaks to the Movies and TV app and GUI, introducing a new "Quick Guide" they say allows users to find content easier, in addition to letting users browse content even if they're already watching another program.
Google's not being specific about a launch date for these improvements, only saying they'll be arriving to Google TV-embedded LG hardware in "the coming weeks" and other second gen Google TV platforms in the "coming months."
If they put a screen reader in it so I can use netflix and amazon I don't care if they listen to me or not... I mean everything we do here in the u.s.a. is being recorded anyway
