They have been having financial difficulties for some time and I think that is what caused their customer service to go down hill.
last year when I looked, there prices were just slightly higher or on par with TW. However, it is a great failsafe if TW decides to implement caps.

Though I'm no fan of a mere 1 Mbps upload speed, their fiber does 15/4 (awesome...plenty enough download and very good uploads) and TWC's nodes are getting overloaded here so PowerBoost only does something for Standard users. | |
