Growing rise of complaints from Tiscali customers

Tiscali is a service provider that is growing rapidly due to TV advertising, and various other marketing activities. Unfortunately we are seeing a growing number of problems from users of the service. The problems are varied but commonly include quality of support advice, poor speeds, problems cancelling service etc. The problem is not confined to just ADSLguide visitors, Mark Jackson of www.ISPReview.co.uk has also noticed the increase.

Tiscali are a Nightmare!

Tiscali is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The technical helpline is run from India and is a complete nightmare. My service was disconnected by Tiscali and I spent over three hours talking to very polite but quite hopeless Indian operators and am still no better off. I cannot use the service and have resorted to pay as you go. Be warned don't go with Tiscali..

Yes tiscali are a nightmare, have you noticed how the Indian operators always give an English name? The best Ive heard are Cameron and Alexis, lol. Try emailing them its hilarious, their grammar is atrocious and they cant spell I recently sent a reply to an email asking if my problem had been resolved by stating it hadn't. Chuckle chuckle, next day i get a reply saying how "happy if for you now those problems here resolved". Im gunna keep calling just to make me feel normal.
Oh, my problem - cant use the phone once data transfer from tiscali begins, both ends have to shout to make themselves heard. They are also sharing out the bandwidth in this area, which sucks...

Suspicious Mind???

I recently attempted to migrate my ADSL "service" from tiscali to Bulldog. Ever since tiscali received the request for migration my connection has been slow and laggy.

Now obviously it would be wrong to suggest that tiscali have flipped the "poor connection switch" on my account as a result of the migration request, which was declined:( but the timing is suspicious.
