HYANNIS - Time to take down the decorations - the Christmas decorations that is.

Hyannis firefighters were called to the Holiday Inn Tuesday night to extinguish a tree fire in front of the Route 132 hotel.

According to Captain William Rex, malfunctioning Christmas lights are believed to have sparked the blaze.

There were no injuries and no damage to the hotel.

Still on?

They were still lighting the lights????

Perhaps they were waiting to get to the tree.

There are still lights in threes here, but not lighted. Most are coming down now that the snow has gone.

I'm glad no one or anything where damaged by the fire.
