Problem: Upgraded from Pro to Elite in early December
Speed tests using ATT Speed Test site (MO: Kansas) consistently shows speeds less than 2Mbps
There are filters in place.
The DSL modem is connected less than 6ft away from where the phone line comes into the house. Modem type: SpeedStream 4100.
Computer OS - Windows XP, Windows 7, and Mac OS X 10.6. All show about the same result on the speed tests. Conducted over wireless (802.11g) and directly from the router.
Router type: Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 running DD-WRT v24-sp1 (07/27/08) std - build 10011.
Speed tests have been conducted over the course of the past few weeks. Most recent test shows 1.5Mbps.
Connection has always been stable. Outages are rare and have typically been resolved by powering off/on the DSL modem (1 or 2 per year in the past 7 years with ATT DSL).
Prior calls to ATT Tech Support have not resolved issue.
took a line check, saw a perfect DSL line, but just completely errored out (click to see larger)

Thank you. I did one last check around the house and found the unfiltered satellite receiver. I'm now seeing 5Mbps+.
Bottom line: check those phone devices devices!!!!!!!! I can't stress that enough!
