Indonesia's Excelcomindo eyes $85m to expand services

Indonesia's third largest cellphone operator PT Excelcomindo Pratama said it will invest $85 million this year to expand its service to corporate subscribers. This year the company targets to add 660 new corporate subscribers bringing the total number to 1,260. A company spokesman Nizar Mansur said part of the investment will be used to finance expansion of cable networks. Last year, the company had 600 corporate subscribers and the number is expected to grow faster as it has expanded coverage to wider areas. Last year its operating area covered only the greater Jakarta area. Full article Telecom Asia
