Insight now has 50/5 internet service It's not advertised yet, but it is available in Evansville, IN. Sorry, I'm not good at typing up a story, but I thought you'd like to know. ~Coach Potato~

| Nice Speeds, but... I just got an email from Insight (typically worded) that I now have an 'exclusive opportunity' for an 'exclusive customer' to get Broadband 50.0. OK, that's cool, but I know I am far from exclusive and it is nowhere near being an exclusive opportunity. I wish they'd just email the facts instead of sending out lame attempts trying making their customer feel special.
Anyhoo, they only want $50 more a month for me to go from 20.0 to 50.0. My answer is a solid "NO", that's just too much money and would put just the internet portion of my billing from Insight at $100/month. I'll wait for Cincy Bell to get FIOPTICS in my area and get the 30meg service which will be cheaper than what I'm paying for Insight's 20.0 service now. It's more than likely I will also just go with Cincy Bell for my HDTV services as well, considering my monthly bill I get from Insight with the current services I get.
