L.A. officials keep black community apprised of probe

LOS ANGELES Four weeks ago, community activist Najee Ali voiced outrage at seeing Los Angeles police officers striking a black suspect with a flashlight.
Standing outside Los Angeles Police Department headquarters, Ali angrily promised weekly protests to seek justice for the suspect, Stanley Miller, 36, and an investigation of the officers involved.
