LAFAYETTE -- A beefed-up Lafayette City Police traffic division will be closely watching a top-10 list of city intersections over the next three months.
At the same time, the city-parish has begun a study of red-light running that may lead to electronic enforcement at intersections.

Monday marked the first day of a 90-day "Crash Reduction Campaign," wherein traffic police will be watching for aggressive drivers and ticketing all violators they see at 10 targeted intersections
