Leap Expands LTE, Offers Galaxy S3

Leap Wireless has announced an expansion of the LTE footprint in addition to some new wireless rate plans. According to a company announcement
, Leap is expanding their prepaid no-contract LTE offering into Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Phoenix, Arizona, and Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Laredo, Corpus Christi and Brownsville-McAllen-Harlingen, Texas. Leap also says they're now offering customers Leap's first two LTE smartphones, the LG Optimus Regard and the Samsung Galaxy S III. As a limited-time promotion Leap's offering buyers of those phones double the monthly full speed data allowance offered in their 3G prepaid data plans. For $50, the Leap 4G LTE Android Double Data Rate Plan allows 2GB of full-speed data, the $60 plan allows 5GB, and the $70 plan offers 10GB.
