Savannah, GA | Re: does it work? If you updated the driver for the WPC54G when the WPC54GS driver came available on WindowsUpdate, then it won't detect it. I tried it on my laptop with the WPC54G and GS driver, and it was a no go other than the silly 'network setup' that looked like this
comcast-->WRT54G (192.168.1.1)-->AP--->Mercury(192.168.1.10)
and the IP for the laptop was wrong. In fact, when run on two different computers they've both lopped off the last digit in the IP adress (all .100+)
