So, this problem ONLY exists if you're enough of an idiot to not setup your router and just plug and pray? Then I say you deserve what you get. Using computers and their peripherals is a responsibility that should not be taken lightly, and you have only yourself to blame if you don't at least do the minimal actions required to be safe. Are people really so stupid as to assume that a wireless router is secure out of the box?
