MALAYSIA’S first electronic lifestyle Damansara Perdana township developed by property firm MK Land Bhd and Palette Multimedia has gone ‘live’. The first phase of the project was recently wired-up and residents and business operators in Damansara Perdana are now connected to an intranet broadband network.

Damansara Perdana is a mixed-developed township. The high-technology living it offers has attracted many information technology companies to either buy or rent offices within the area. Over 100 offices and some 1,200 units of homes are now equipped with high-speed wired or wireless connectivity. An additional 800 homes and about 100 more offices will be connected in the next few months. Through the Digital Home Technology Group, residents will enjoy e-lifestyle features such as e-learning, digital video demand, high-speed Internet access and other broadband applications.
