DIGI Telecommunications Sdn Bhd is confident of capturing higher market share and increased usage of its service with the launch its new prepaid service Beyond Prepaid. The attractiveness of the package was in its “automatic adjusting rate” feature, where call charges would get cheaper as usage increased.

Under the new package, call rates start from 50 sen per minute for the first RM30 usage in the same month, which will go down to 45 sen for the next RM30. For usage above RM60, the rate is 40 sen per minute. Beyond Prepaid starter pack retails for RM38 and comes preloaded with RM20 talk time.

The product is packed with a host of features including automatic international roaming, multimedia messaging service, faster Internet connection via DiGi's general packet radio service network, call waiting, call divert and multi-party conferencing. Existing prepaid customers can switch to Beyond Prepaid for free by calling DiGi customer service.
