Malaysia moved to 26th position in Global IT Index

Malaysia has moved to 26th position, up six notches from 32nd, in the Networked Readiness Index (NRI) in the Global Information Technology Report for 2003-2004. The report compiled by the World Economic Forum (WEF), INSEAD and the World Bank’s InfoDev, which was released yesterday in Geneva, measures how prepared each economy is to participate and benefit from information and communication technology (ICT) developments.
