A man is dead after he was hit by a train in South Austin.
The accident happened around 4 a.m. The train involved was at a standstill on the tracks for hours. It blocked traffic at Oltorf Lane and Lamar Boulevard and at Mary Street and Lamar. The two-mile long train was moved and traffic was flowing by 8 a.m.
