join:2007-02-19 Golden, CO | In my area (Comcast) the upload PowerBoost is only to about 3 Mbit, so not much better than your usual 2 Mbit. Which is decent-ish anyway for even hungry protocols like VNC. | |

| Mediacom blah That's nice but it ain't much and it sure doesn't make up for the crappy service. Actually... the internet worked most of the time but more so the cable tv that had problems. It would be nice if a technician actually came out when they said they would have a technician come out. I think the only thing the techs do around here is connect the service and will never return again. AT&T may be slower but it works a lot more often than mediacom and if something does go wrong, it's usually not a problem to get a same or next day technician. | |
