Mediacom official gets an earful at Virginia council meeting

VIRGINIA — Mediacom officials got an earful from the Virginia City Council on increasing cable television rates and the lack of choice.
Mediacom spokesperson Tom Bordwell came before the council Tuesday after rates were recently raised and complaints again surfaced about prices and the quality of programming.

Will Mediacom go after the programmers?

Normally I would just see the statements made by the Virgina officials about going after the programmers and their tactics as just blowing smoke, but I do find it interesting that Mediacom's latest ad campaigns seem to point consumer ire directly at those programmers.
And from what I have heard about Rocco, he really does despite their tactics.
Would make for an interesting showdown, but I think Mediacom would lose.

Thank god someone is doing something

I'm glad to see someong w/ power is doing something to try to stop this shit. It's horrible, high priced cable and less and less selection every month.
