| | | Re: Proves What proves what? A piddly company offering barely-decent LTE is proof AT&T and Verizon don't have anti-competitive dominance over the sector? On what planet? Guess who fares better at auction? | |

| | | | Re: Proves Piddly company or not, someone else is still doing it. Oh wait, this site only cares if VZW or ATT is doing it. They don't care about the smaller Indie companies that are still out there. After all if it wasn't for the smaller companies like Metro Cingular/ATT and VZW/Cellco would NOT be what they are today. Thanks to mergers and buy outs, that is how VZW got to their size. and Cingular. | |

| | | | Re: Proves They're not in the market to build a fast network that matches VZ and Cellco. they're in the market to capture those people that do NOT want to deal with them, yet want a value for their dollar. And most if not all of their network is LTE now. And Metro can easily obtain the LTE network they need and have already with wholesale agreements. Why build and buy when you can lease? | |

And Sprint doesn't have a network built out yet nationwide, though they're working on it.
And neither does T-Mobile.
If you're not gonna build out a network, you're called an MVNO.
That said MetroPCS is at least trying to get with the times. Ahem, CricKet.
Unfortunately for both unlimited regionals, they're losing customers...

Considering Verizon has MANY MANY MANY more markets than MetroPCS that will take a bit longer to accomplish.

| | Back to analog quality? Years ago I went outside and noticed my cell was connecting in analog with a couple bars so I quickly called someone to see if the audio quality was better. BTW it was MUCH better than bubbly droppy digital. If LTE can get us that quality again it would raise the bar for cell phone audio. | |

I thought analog died half a decade ago.
