They should make it service pack 5. Update the components (IE6, etc) first, then include security fixes.

They say this is the last...

...upgrade/patch for windows 2000 that they're calling it a 'Ultimate Rollup' & 'Final Security Patch' and they're not planning on releasing any more service packs - so are they stopping support for it [patches, etc.]? This 'Final' sounds ominous to me.

That would be a shame. I like that OS.

They will be supporting security patches until 2010. The articles are misleading people.
