BF69Premium join:2004-07-28 Camden, TN | MPAA has power to reduce piracy greatly A) Stop trying to kill things like Netflix. Also make where Netflix can offer more than 10 year old movies. Also quit making us wait until the next season of TV start before allowing us to stream the season just ended.
B) If you want us to buy content instead of renting or pirating then LOWER your prices. I'm not paying $25 for a blu-ray or $20 for a DVD. Also logic dictates that digital downloads should be cheaper than physical discs. Also dump the DRM. Maybe Ultraviolet is nice for those that don't want or don't know how to make a copy of a DVD or blu-ray. The rest of us want to make our own back-ups.
C) Shorter windows from theater to home video. Movies make 95% of their domestic haul in the first 6 weeks yet you insist on a 17-21 week delay between theater and home video. Even longer for Netflix DVD by mail and Redbox. Get rid of the extra delay for Redbox and Netlfix also.

Especially on the DRM front, They still think DRM is protecting them. And stronger DRM only encourages the pirates because they advertise it as being stronger than previous versions. Advertise an unbreakable lock and someone will try and pick it. -- [65 Arcanist]Filan(High Elf) Zone: Broadband Reports
