And isn't it sad that we have allowed the progress of the internet to slow to a crawl. Microsoft doesn't feel the need to upgrade their networks because not to many have 100mbps connections.
We were promised a 100mbps network by 2009, I don't think were remotely close.

| | Vista kernel is vulnerable That sounds pretty scary | |

| | | Re: Vista kernel is vulnerable of course it requires to be an admin
"Unterleitner said administrator privileges are required to execute a program that calls the function containing the flaw, but that doesn't seem like much of a hurdle, since Vista trains its users to click on "OK" to all sorts of security warnings."
if the person is an admin worse thin gs can be done

How does Vista train a person to click ok? If an idiot was using another OS and wanted to click on everything and download everything, they'll still destroy their pc.

I have a password on the admin account, so I'm the only one in the household that can actually install new stuff or update the old stuff. Yes, it's a bit annoying for me, but it prevents less well educated users from installing all kinds of "free" crap they found on the Internet. -- "I am always amazed when the Constitution moves a little closer to a document restricting the rights of the People rather than a document restricting the rights of the Government."
