WHERE do these corporate nut jobs get life taught to them, do they have parents ? are the aliens really THEM?
Logically we can say for sure that if they were human , they'd be doing more to advance culture and freedom then profit form thought and innovation so much that it kills such.
It's awful that while warner brothers also goes on suing people the CEO's own very son gets a slap opn the wrist proving its about wealth and power and control not piracy.
IF p2p disappears then a lot a people will have to pay those real pirates 5$ a shot. IS this what you and i want your kids buying dvdrs and such form actual criminals? Or would we rather them just do this. What in this case is really better for the children here.

At a breakfast cohosted by the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and The New Yorker Thursday, Lynton wasn't just trying for a laugh: He complained the Internet has “created this notion that anyone can have whatever they want at any given time. It's as if the stores on Madison Avenue were open 24 hours a day. They feel entitled. They say, 'Give it to me now,' and if you don't give it to them for free, they'll steal it."
Well let's see, the internet has provided:
• Easy, instant publication of scientific and academic data for the whole world
• Easy, instant references on local events, weather, businesses
• Faster, more efficient commerce
• Fast, more nearly universal, and more democratic news
• Resources for education and for spread of culture
• Cheaper, any-distance communication between individuals
Oh, but it still hasn't got rid of old, ignorant, unduly powerful rich white men leading dinosaur industries and holding back progress. So I guess it's a bust after all. | |
